The Cassiopeia series explores both the human contemplation of and disregard for the universe beyond earth. Since my youth, I have been fascinated by the night sky. I photographed the constellation Cassiopeia and chose to use it consistently throughout the series because, according to myth, it represents human vanity.

Whether one contemplates or disregards the universe beyond, it is there always. I have tried to convey this here by using the darkest night sky against daylight - brightened objects in the foreground.

This image is available in the following limited edition sizes. Prices may increase as editions sell:
(20) 24 x 36" (22 x 34" + border)
(40) 16 x 24" (14 x 22" + border)
(90) 12 x 18" (10 x 16" + border)

When the above limited editions sell out, the image will no longer be printed and sold as such. The artist reserves the right to use this image for commercial purposes.

The photo is printed with a 1" border. If you prefer not to have a border, please let me know and I will remove it so the image size will be enlarged to the size of the base dimensions. The photo will be signed and numbered on the back with archival ink and you will receive a certificate of authenticity.

If the shipping profile states the piece will be shipped in a tube and you prefer otherwise, please let me know.
