Original artwork description:

This digital sketch was made on an iPad using the procreate program. It was made 4 days after the start of the full-scale war, namely on February 28, 2022. This picture shows the consequences of the war in its first days. Namely: devastation, Ukrainians sitting in the basement, rescuers from the State Emergency Service dismantling the rubble, people hiding in the cellar, fighting between architectural ruins on the streets, people with machine guns, etc. These are terrible days. I painted on my iPad because there was no electricity at home for two days, and my iPad was charged.

To be honest, I didn't really want to draw at that time (the first month in general), but I realized that as an artist, I had a mission to document the events at least on paper, to make some sketches and generally reflect my emotions and what I was thinking at the time. That is why I created this composition of sketches from various events of those terrible first days of the war.
