'Connections' took many attempts to get right. It was nearly overpainted completely then I saw a way through and am very happy with the result. The overall appearance is a network, maybe an aerial view of a city or interconnecting mycelia of fungi.

The techniques used include applying paint with brushes, palette knives, scraping away wet paint with a silicon tipped brush and accurately dripping orange paint. At the end two different colours of metallic pen were used to add fine details.

'Connections' is a painting that draws you in. As you get closer more details emerge. It is painted ion canvas stretched over an internal wooden frame. It is ready to hang.
