Autumn is a beautiful time of year, the colours as the leaves turn make everywhere look lovely. I can never resist picking up a few conkers when they fall from a horse-chestnut tree near my home. They always make me remember playing conkers with my brother when I was a child and subjecting them to various treatments to try and make a super hard conker that would beat all others!
