Original artwork description:

This artwork is inspired by Japanese mythology, which is full of different strange and frightening creatures (though I did not try to draw any particular evil thing from legends, but mostly to create a general impression of wickedness).

I imagined a sorcerer having the power to bend spirits to their will - and realized that such a person will be constantly on the edge between the two worlds, where any mistake could cost them their life - and maybe even soul...
