"Confection Three" is part of a large series that utilizes complex color palettes, bold brushwork and dramatic compositions. The series also introduces abstracted organic shapes interlaced with representational imagery. I want to see this group of paintings appear to be textural and contradictory/synergistic with imagery usage and technical approach. I am looking for unusual pairings, building equations and finding answers to create a new type of visual language.
