Woman with her hand and face raised towards Heaven, conducting the Light through her long dark hair ... the colour refracts and flows from her breast to the Earth below.

On my favourite paper - a blue-grey cotton rag paper, handmade in India*

I have used Conte black pencil, chalk pastel and white gouache for her skin.

Some of the photographs show the finished painting in my hallway, as well as on an easel in my studio.

Available unframed.
*This paper has a pleasing deckle edge which could be made a feature of at the time of framing instead of covering the edges with a mount/mat.
