Portrait of a young pianist who performed under Brunelleschi's dome, covering the cross vault of Florence Cathedral. The riot of color caresses the figure of the artist and the piano, a magical instrument "capable of communicating the most subtle universal truths through wood, metal and vibrating air" (Kenneth Miller).
