Original artwork description:

This is one of a series of painting that I have done featuring the Steinway Concert Grand Piano. I have shown the instrument with various backgrounds and pianists. I have emphasized the reflection of the mechanism of the piano on the underside of the raised top. In this case, the background is a rough brown concrete wall as a contrast to the fine workmanship of the Steinway. I have kept to mostly warm, "earthy" colors. The background has been printed in high definition and laminated to the back of 4 mil. architectural drafting mylar. The piano, pianist, and shadow are painted on the face of the mylar with acrylic paint and india ink.
CONCERT GRAND 5 is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This painting will be shipped in a tube. The artwork is very easy to mount on any type of board: plywood, masonite, foamboard, etc. I include simple mounting instructions with each piece that I sell and also I include mounting tape, a hanging strip and a drywall hanging device. Everything that you need to mount your painting except the board.

If you prefer, I will mount the artwork on one inch thick foamboard with a two inch border all around. It will be “ready to hang”, with a hanging strip attached to the back and a wall hanging device that is very simple to use. It will be shipped in a cardboard box. You may take it out of the box and have it hanging on your wall within five minutes. The extra charge is $50.00 for mounting and packaging plus the additional shipping costs, if any. Message me through this site and I will calculate the total costs for mounting and shipping.
