Original artwork description:

From my 'Endless Summer' December Release 2024 of original paintings.

This original painting has been signed and titled by me on the back of the canvas.

'Competing For The Light'
Painted over several months in the summer of 2023 & 2024, after a lot of sessions!
This painting itself measures: 90cm x 90cm x 2cm / 35" x 35" x 2"
In its frame, it measures 95cm x 95cm / 37" x 37" x 2"

This new series explores that incredible positive feeling of osmosis that happens when we as humans are immersed and spend time in nature.

Inspired by a need for getting away after the lockdown, and new found love for painting tropical scenes, this tropical botanical addition to my abstract work started in early 2023 into utopian escapist scenes.

I've been visiting tropical pavilions around the country for inspiration, as well as my drawing from memories of my childhood in Szarvas, Hungary and travels over the years. This nostalgic series invites you to heal in the wonders of looking up, and becoming lost in amongst the flora.
