Compassion. Just because someone is always smiling does not mean they are always happy. Often times the smile is a façade to hide the pain they are living in constantly. It hides the internal storm that is always raging. The ones that hide the pain so well, are the ones that need compassion the most. They walk a dangerous line. It is not a weakness to admit you are hurting. You don't always have to be strong. It is okay to show pain, to cry and let yourself fall apart. For in doing so, you are healing.
