Part of a collection of paintings exploring ethnicity and race. A beautiful serene portrait of a resting woman in the realms of the dreamworld, painted using acrylic with a silver metallic leaf finish in the background. Created using a very fine brush to achieve the detailing and shadows. A flash of neon orange on the eyelashes presents a striking hint of colour set off against the shining silver light of the background, which creates a unique effect from different viewpoints.

Framed in a 30mm matt black wooden scooped frame, with a stain finish showing some wood grain. Crystal clear 2mm acrylic glazing. Shatter proof and 20% clearer than glass. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity attached to the back of the frame. The frame is complete with an acid free double mount and backing board, which protects the artwork.
