For me this Companion Icon has a very organic character, almost like a creature from another world... but it gets in resonance with every observer in a different way...
what feelings and memories does it cause in you?

TECHNIQUE
The series of "the Companion Icons" is actually rather a mixed media art work on wood which I created on top of a handmade transfer print. The base of the motif is digital collage I made of fragments of my paintings, after all it develops thru multiple layers and techniques. Every 'Companion Icon' is a unique piece of art.

MOTIF
I created the motif in a way that it unfolds rather slowly and creates an individual resonance that is very specific to the observer. The choice of “Companion-Icon” becomes relevant as well as the motifs bear different animal characters and are corresponding to ones inner self.

SPECIALTY
In addition to using acrylics I also worked with thin sheets of gold for the 'Companion Icon 52s'.

Note: The little flaws and marks are intended, they add to the character of the icon.
