Pliny the great here planted an elm, unfortunately, it is no longer there, but the name remains Villa Olmo.
Superb neo-classical villa of the late 1700s.
It hosted Napoleon, Ugo Foscolo, Francesco II, Ferdinando I, Giuseppe Garibaldi.
I would have gone there too, she is really beautiful. I took the photo on the other side of the lake, I like the contrast with the monument dedicated to Alessandro Volta in steel in the middle of the lake.
I love city landscapes with beautiful historical monuments, cathedrals, squares with their stories and legends.
Black and white give an antique touch to the design.
The technique is the pencil: I used the micro mines 0.3 and 0.4 with hardness 2H, HB, 2B.
