Artwork description:

This is the first in a series of original drypoint prints I am making featuring communications masts. This one is larger than I usually make as I felt that I really wanted to explore the detail of the masts and the dishes attached. I think that these structures are incredibly modern and industrial which has a real pull for me. They are obviously completely necessary for all the modern communication which we often take for granted. Their enormity and gravitas is undoubtedly loved by few and hated by most! I think that these structures are fascinating.

This is from a series of 50 numbered original hand pulled prints and will come signed on the front.

Materials used:

This is an original drypoint print, hand pulled using the traditional techniques. It is printed onto Somerset paper.
