Commission painting for a book lover in USA. Painting commissions is always exciting. It started with the buyer contacting me with a few pictures of her home library. She has a collection of more than 500 books and wanted me to come up with an idea to memoralise them in a painting. After asking her a few questions about her favourite books and likes, I prepared a sketch for her. The placement of bookcase was inspired by her actual pics. Her favourite book with a cup of tea/coffee on the side and a lamp to balance the picture completed the look...She loved it and then I started the painting on canvas. The end result is this colorful display which she adores.
