Do you know the feeling of being comfortably lying down to sunbathe, read or do what you like the best in a place that you perfectly know and love, and suddenly something destroys that balance?

After a few months the artist painted this canvas thinking back to the stormy events that marked her 2022, pushing her to deviate from the planned path and to reinvent some bases of her life - keeping the cornerstones but also looking for something new. The painting focuses on the balance breaking instant, which is why she chose to accentuate the contrast between lights and shadows by creating a surreal scene with a background of drama that normally does not suit the represented context of an outdoor pool with waterslides.
