Original artwork description:

Saturday th 22nd of February 2021 this artwork was stolen from my studio.
I keep it here, so that potential buyers may find it catalogued as stolen and will not buy the painting.

"Come what may" is the title of this blue acrylic on canvas painting,
where I depicted the power of softness that so many women possess.

Often power is seen as something that needs to be strong,
overlooking the incredible force of what flexibility and resilience bring.
This is much like the (bamboo) canes that instead of snapping,
flow and bow with the storm, standing up strait after every movement of air.
"Not knowing" and "allowing accidents to happen" (like drops of paint running down the canvas) is part of life.

My artwork is about empowering these overlooked qualities, celebrating them as I see, hear and feel them in the female universe.

As you can see in the video, the sides are painted as well, so it's ready to hang soon as you unpacked the painting from the box.

The painting is signed on the front and on the back you will find the title, year of making and my full-out signature.

If you have any questions, I will be glad to answer them personally, and I thank you for supporting me in making a living of what I am so passionate about!
