In this painting I have tried to capture the light coming through the beautiful planting in the grounds of Mount Stewart House ,the house a well known National Trust property not far from Belfast Northern Ireland, the gardens of this property have a huge range of features and styles ,from formal planting ,woodland walks ,lakes and ponds which all go to make it a great place for Artists who like me enjoys the challenge of capturing on canvas the shapes and colours of flowers, plants and landscape ,each time I visit the changing effects of sunlight throw up endless possibilities.

Materials used:

acrylic on stretched canvas sides painted for hanging with or without frame
