When I observe a body I always see a possibility of representation, a search and problematisation of what it means to be in this contemporary world.
I conceive of the body as a social critique and a search for answers to the situation of the current subject. These series of paintings speak of the body in struggle against nature and the city. My concept of my work is situated in the trinomial Body-Nature-City.

I think and use my body as a starting point and try to universalise the discourse.
