I've always been attracted to the concept of color field painting, where large areas of color are used to create a sense of depth and movement in the painting. For this artwork I wanted to push the boundaries of what can be achieved with this technique.
I am excited about the different interpretations of the painting that viewers can have, as each person brings their own experience and perspective to the piece.
As an artist, my inspiration for this painting came from my love of nature, especially the vast and open landscapes I had the opportunity to explore. The colors, brush strokes and composition in this painting are inspired by the way light and shadows play in the landscape and the way nature changes over time.
