Original artwork description:

"Seize the rose when it is time, for time you know flies...and the same flower that blooms today will wither tomorrow." (Walt Whitman). From here I was inspired to create this painting that contains a glimpse of one of the unmistakable landscapes of Tuscany, a panorama of its hills and the magnificence of some of its historical architectures. The rose garden dominates the foreground infusing the magic of its penetrating fragrance.
