Original artwork description:
This small painting was inspired by icebergs floating in Disko Bay near Ilulissat, Greenland. I traveling to the arctic last year, getting a chance in the process to experience a landscape so different from my own. Texture, color, reflection -- all elements that stuck with me. Working on ideas to translate that experience to canvas, and this is one of the results.
