The old cabin on the family ranch homesteaded in Colorado near Mount Princeton in the 1870's. My grandmother was born there and called it "Dad's Place". Original watercolor on paper, image size 14" x 20", matted and ready for a standard size frame.
Open skies, storms coming in, sweeping vistas, mountains and grasslands all call for broad strokes and bold light and shadows. I strive for an economy of color and execution that can bring a landscape to life.
