Original artwork description:

Every now and then I dip my toe into purely abstract painting. In this case I am studying the relationships of changing line and color. We have all seen the optical illusions where a certain color is shown against different colored backgrounds and how the initial color seems to change with the changing background color.

COLOR STUDY #1 is a one-of-a-kind original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint. I only sell original work so there will only be one original and no authorized copies will ever be made. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

This painting will be shipped in a tube. The artwork is very easy to mount on any type of board: plywood, masonite, foamboard, etc. I include simple mounting instructions with each piece that I sell and also I include mounting tape, a hanging strip and a drywall hanging device. Everything that you need to mount your painting except the board.

If you prefer, I will mount the artwork on ½ inch thick foam board with a two or three inch border. It will be “ready to hang”, with a hanging strip attached to the back and a wall hanging device that is very simple to use. It will be shipped in a cardboard box. You may take it out of the box and have it hanging on your wall within five minutes. The extra charge is $50.00 for mounting and packaging plus the additional shipping costs,if any. Message me through this site and I will calculate the total costs for mounting and shipping.
