Artwork description:
This print was inspired by the landscape of hills and vales that surround the iconic landmark of Colmer's Hill near Bridport in Dorset. I wanted to convey the spaciousness and conversely the intimacy of this very special landscape.
This is a two block print, the sky and landscape created using the reduction technique which means the block was gradually destroyed with each stage of the process. Only the second, foreground block can be reused.
Small edition of 20.
Printed on Somerset Satin 250g paper using oil-based inks.
Prior to shipping the print will be backed with card, wrapped in biodegradable cellophane and securely packaged with cardboard.
