In Collective Memory, I explore the nature of human thought—the way our minds hold onto moments, emotions, and impressions long after time has moved forward. The young woman in the painting is lost in thought, her gaze unfocused as if looking inward rather than outward. She is not sad, nor entirely at peace; instead, she exists in that quiet space where memories surface and dissolve, where the past and present intertwine.

This painting is about the depth of our inner world, the way we carry experiences within us. Some memories bring warmth, others a faint ache, but all are part of what shapes us. I wanted to capture this introspective state, where emotions are neither heavy nor fleeting but simply present—alive in their own quiet way.
