Mixed media: collage, acrylics and transfer.

The artistic medium is collage. The technique mixes different painting styles, such as paint textures and prints. Strokes and splashes are seen throughout the work, along with areas of flat colour. There are layers of text and geometric shapes painted on a light background. The style is abstract, experimental and conceptual.
The composition of the image is complex and multi-layered. The figure of the woman is centred in the image but not in an obvious way. Several layers of text and geometric shapes surround and pass through her. The text ‘LOVE’ appears in different sizes and styles, creating a sense of overlapping and layering. The positioning of the different elements is unconventional, but feels intentional, aiming to create a multifaceted and complex composition.
