When I created this abstract seascape , my intention was not only to paint the sea, but above all, to show the sensation we can experience by the ocean in winter .
- The sun is pale and low, the clouds blend with the horizon. The surface of the sea is white and we can guess the deep blue color of the depths.
The icy wind, which swirls in all directions, makes wavelets on the surface of the water.
Most people know the sea in summer, the beach, the baths, the sun, it's very beautiful but, living in Brittany on the Atlantic coast, I have the chance to enjoy, to breathe the magic of the mysterious ocean, when the sea and the sky are one, when the cold wind blows, when I hear in the distance, the shrill cry of a gull.


This new creation is painted with a palette knife on an unstretched canvas.
It can perfectly suit in a modern interior , an office, or a restaurant.
Its size 208x101 centimeters will make it a major element of your decoration.

The canvas is not stretched on a frame, it will be shipped in a reinforced cardboard tube. The shipping costs are much reduced and your work is no risk because it is rolled in a very solid tube.
--In France, an unstretched canvas this size can be stretched on a wooden frame for an approximatively cost of 150 to 200 Euros. This is the same in U.K.
Ask you framer in your city.
The canvas mounted on a frame will be perfectly tense, it will not present ripples.
You will get a canvas in three dimensions with the painted sides of matching color.

This allows you to have a very big artwork of which the original price would be at least 3000 Euros regarding my official quotation.
