Original artwork description:

A plein air oil painting from the Touraine Vineyards in France near my holiday home; painted in January on a lovely but bitterly cold afternoon the painting picks up the light of the low sun across the dormant vines. Artist quality oils painted on hand stretched canvas using palette knife. Framed in a plain varnished wood tray frame.
