This medium-sized original oil painting captures a serene moment along the artist’s local (Foxton, UK) canal. As Lisa explains “I was walking along the canal on a cold, misty morning, all the way, not seeing another soul. Eventually, I glanced to my right and noticed my silent contemplation had formed an audience.”

Smooth pastel blue and green tones contrast with the deep overgrown browns of the embankment and its reflection in the water.
