This artwork was created using oil on board and is unframed. The painting is inspired by a freezing cold weather front moving in and the effect that has on the colour and light. It is built up in layers, allowing each one to dry before moving on to the next. Painted intuitively with no reference material this oil has instead relied on an instinctive approach creating a emotional response using memories and feelings
