12" x 12" oil painting on birch, with sides that are 1 1/2" deep. Part of a series of paintings I painted in my studio in Kansas City, Missouri in November of 2014. In this series, I explored color relationships and built intense, joyful layers of saturated color with my palette knife.

oil paint on birch board, cradled to hang 1.5 inches deep off the wall
