CHICORY
My grandmother told me about chicory coffee, telling me that when she was young, coffee was a luxury that her family could not afford, so they drank the chicory one.

Many years have passed and I thought that chicory coffee no longer even existed, when two years ago I had to stop taking coffee and they advised me to start drinking chicory coffee instead.

I drink it every morning in a thick white ceramic cup.


As usual in this series, I caught the cup with the chicory the instant before tipping it onto the ground.
Did I stop time or not?

it depends on who will want to look at it with the eyes of the heart


This work is part of the series COGLI L'ATTIMO and is the seventh, with this series I try to tackle the theme of not wasting time, enjoying every moment that life gives us, before it's too late.

I made the work with the oil color technique on canvas, I use oil color by superimposing many very thin layers of suitably diluted color to create the effects I want.


The work is signed on the front and back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity

for non-EU shipments, it is necessary to wait for authorization from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and this could lead to a delay of a few days
