TIME, MARKED BY TIME
time is king of our daily life
we are not masters of time but it is he who commands us.
Have you ever tried to do something without the problem of time?
When it happens to me, the thing I'm doing takes on a different value, I savor it much more

For this work, I chose a pocket watch to help me express the emotion you feel when you lose track of time, but also appreciate what you have in the present, TAKING THE MOMENT in fact.

This work is part of the 2021 series entitled CATCH THE MOMENT and is number 22 of this series.


I made the work with the oil color technique on board, I use oil color by overlapping many very thin layers of suitably diluted color to create the effects I want.

For this work I found a wood pulp frame that I colored with the same color as the background of the painting and then I treated with neutral wax which I colored with pigments to give body to the frame.

The work is signed on the front and back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity

for non-EU shipments, it is necessary to wait for authorization from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and this could lead to a delay of a few days
