Original artwork description:

I constantly get inspired by the human body. I specially love interesting light situations and especially skin colours. The sculptural aspect is very obvious in my paintings. I hardly paint any details so that i can focus on light and colour. Through contrast , composition and other visual cues the shown scenes are often loaded with meaning like in symbolist painting.
My technique alternates between a kind of impressionist paint application and old master techniques.
