This is an infrared image taken at Cuckmere Haven in East Sussex of steam bent sweet chestnut spheres, inspired by the beautiful skeletal remains of ancient 'coccoliths', the calcium carbonate remains that make up, in their billions, the beautiful chalk South Downs, that end at the iconic cliffs between Seaford and Eastbourne.

They were made specially for the 2019 Art Wave Festival.

Also available framed.
