The daydreamers that walk through the high old buildings of Venice, can hear the sweet sounds of a violin playing. Passion and romance fills the atmosphere from the heart-warming and soulful notes. They are not sure where the sounds are coming from, only that it sounds like its above them as they walk the cobbled back streets. Only the heart of another, will ever know the true meaning of these lyrics.
I designed this poem for the story...

Old beautiful place of daydreamers
That walk your maze of cobbled streets

If you are lost out there my darling
Follow the sweet sounds of my sinking soul

Return to the bridges of memories
Where my locked heart awaits

This very old antique box lends itself to the styles of an old Italian room. I don’t know how old it is? only that the nails within it are handmade. It is solid and beautifully and I have kept all its original surface and colour.
I designed the back of the cabinet in markings of the Venice canal houses with the beautiful rustic mossy walls. I engraved the roof above with the poem, so it belongs with it forever.
