Original oil painting of the southward view of the coastline from the overlook by the Bixby Bridge on Highway 1 in Northern California. The ruggedness of coastal cliffs is emphasized with thick paint application and layers of colorful brushstrokes.
Materials used in creating this work: oil paint on oil-primed extra-fine Belgian linen. This linen is mounted to the ACM (aluminum composite material) panel, for the ultimate archival and rigid support. The ACM panel consists of 2 sheets of aluminum with a solid polyethylene core. The back of the panel has a brushed silver polyester coating that protects the aluminum from scratches and provides an elegant finished presentation.
The painting is varnished and ready to be framed. Images showing the artwork framed in home interiors are for presentation of potential framing ideas only. Frame is not included.
