Inspired by the Andalucian coast at sunset, this oil painting of the Mediterranean is full of swirling colourful, and expressive brush marks. The thick textured paint is applied with energy, creating a movement and rhythm to the composition that leads the eye around the canvas. A harmony of turquoises, magentas and violets are carefully placed which creates an atmospheric semi abstract impressionistic seascape.
The piece is created on a 3cm deep canvas with the painting continuing around the edges. It is signed on the front and ready to hang.
