Looking at Southwold Lighthouse from the pier. When the tide is going in you feel as though the pier is hurtling out to sea taking you with it.
I loved painting the sea, all swirly shapes and ripples.
One of a small series of 6 works painted with the same restricted palette of reds and turquoises.
