The coasts of Galicia in Muxia, Spain.

Under a sky that is almost overwhelming in its presence, and its moving clouds, the sea and the rocks form a chaotic yet intimately harmonious dialogue. The rocks firmly anchor the foreground, their rough texture contrasting with the fluid movement of the water. They are not simply inanimate objects, but silent witnesses to the passage of time and the natural forces that surround them.

The white finish on the sides of the canvas allows for hanging without a frame if desired.

Materials used:

This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.
