An original oil painting on canvas by Australian artist Scott Maxwell

An experiment combining fluid acrylic painting techniques with traditional brush oil painting. This was a difficult work to combine the different techniques, to get it to work to join as one. This is something that I struggle with in my life and so it is aptly titled.

This painting is on a thick edged stretched canvas the edges of the canvas are painted black and a hanging wire is attached to the back so it is ready to hang on your wall with or without a frame.

The stretcher frame of this canvas is slightly warped. As you can see in the photos it is not noticeable. If you were thinking of framing this painting that would rectify it.
