Original artwork description:

One of a series of paintings dealing with the theme of surveillance and control, produced collaboratively with Seetha A (Moorland Productions). The images are inspired by RFID tags used to monitor merchandise and control consumer behaviour, and resemble labyrinths or Zen Gardens in their form. The Interference Acrylic reflects colour like an oil slick depending on the angle of vision. From full frontal it appears milky/purple, but changes to orange etc when the head is moved. First exhibited in Leytonstone Public LIbrary, London, during the Leytonstone "Week of Art" 2013

Materials used:

Acrylic and Interference acrylic on cotton canvas
