This Oil Pastel on Black Paper drawing was done “en plein air“ from our hotel balcony at sunrise on the first morning of our trip. Waking up early to see Sun Moon Lake emerge out of the darkness is a beautiful treat whatever the weather. As there were alot of clouds around during our trip most mornings were foggy and misty affairs, which personally I didn’t mind because I like the atmospheric cloudy mountain scenes. This was the view across the lake of Ida Saou and Great Swaysur Mountain with the low hanging clouds passing through the scene reflecting on the water.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
