I love to hover between abstraction and impressionistic thoughts in my paintings, and my trip to Pembrokeshire, Wales in the autumn gave me a fantastic opportunity to immerse myself in a beautiful, atmospheric landscape. I started lots of paintings whilst I was there, and am very slowly taking them out in my studio and consolidating the work I did.

I use top quality acrylic paints, usually Golden acrylics, or lovely Lascaux paints. They produce beautiful and rich colour. I use brushes, palette knives, rags and sponges to create a rich textured surface on the canvas.

This 40x40cm painting in unframed, it had white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
