Original artwork description:

This painting is a celebration of bright colour.

The cloud like shapes bumping into each other and the focus of colour in the centre of the painting show my inspiration comes from the complex and satisfying puzzle of combining colour. The shape and structure are simple and the title comes from the many tones and shades of colour which remain after many layers and colours have been added to the composition.

A moment of happiness is my aim with these abstracted pieces.

The paint is carefully layered and dripped on to the canvas to give a rich patina and interesting surface.

This 100x100cm canvas is unframed, it has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.

Materials used:

acrylic paint
