The main source of inspiration for me is nature. Not only realistic landscapes - mountains, reservoirs or a snow-covered valley, but also the energy of these places.
I begin work on my paintings in the Plein Air, here I can feel the atmosphere, strength and character of the place that I chose.
I meet and get acquainted with different people with their culture, their views on life when traveling throughout Europe.
I observe how the character of people changes, their habits, depending on the region in which they live. People are warm, open and friendly as the landscapes of the south of France or people are bright and cheerful, like in the Balkan landscapes. The Belgian and Dutch plains waiting and rejoicing on every sunny day, of which there are so few.
I captured by the energy of these places express on the canvas the feelings that have remained with me forever.
The paintings are born in the studio from small etudes done on the Plein Air and acquire special power of influence due to the play of light and shadow.
