An imaginary painting of a countryside. This gestural painting explore the strong contrast. I was thinking about storm, or heavy grey clouds on a northern country, maybe over a pond. Gesture gives a contemporary aspect to this classical subject.

The artwork is painted on a thick gessoed pannel of masonite (MDF). Edges are painted in white. The artwork is ready to hang.
