Original artwork description:

This is a plein air (painted on location) seascape, painted from the cliffs surrounding the Shark Fin Cove, along the HWY 1, between Davenport and Santa Cruz. It was late morning in January, and the weather was balmy warm and sunny. I enjoyed watching the waves break at the base of the cliffs and sparkling ocean all the way to the horizon line.

Materials used to create this artwork: oil on oil primed linen on archival Centurion DLX panel. The painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. The painting is unframed, and it will require a frame to hang on the wall. It will easily fit in a standard (USA) 8"x10" frame. Images showing the painting framed in home interiors are for presentation of potential framing ideas only. Frame is not included.
